Cancellation Policy
When scheduling an appointment through our online tool, you agree to the terms of our cancellation policy as outlined below. Please read this policy carefully as it details your responsibilities regarding scheduled medical appointments.
1. Cancellation and "No-Show" Policy:
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide notice at least 3 business days in advance of the scheduled appointment date.
-
Cancellations made with less than 3 business days' notice or failure to attend the scheduled appointment (a "no-show") will result in a cancellation charge based on the location of the exam as detailed below.
2. Cancellation Fees:
-
For appointments scheduled in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, a cancellation or no-show will incur a $1,500 cancellation charge.
-
For appointments scheduled in The Bronx or Nassau, a cancellation or no-show will incur a $2,000 cancellation charge.
-
The applicable charge will be billed to the payment method on file or invoiced to the responsible party.
3. Business Days:
-
"Business days" are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Cancellation requests received after business hours or on non-business days will be considered as having been received on the next business day.
4. How to Cancel:
-
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must contact us by email at: scheduling@imedsnyc.com, or by telephone at: +1 718 551 6428, or through your online account (provide contact details).
-
Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your cancellation to avoid any cancellation charges.
-
If the appointment is canceled through the online scheduling tool with less than 3 business days' notice, the cancellation charge will still apply, and you will be charged or invoiced accordingly.
5. Payment Terms and Late Fees:
-
All payments for services rendered or cancellation charges must be received within 90 days of the invoice date.
-
If payment is not received within 90 days, a 10% late fee will be assessed monthly on the outstanding balance until the full payment is made.
